Horizon – Middle Park

Apartment Renovation

Project Details

A considered apartment renovation, Horizon is defined by clarity of planning and a restrained material palette, shaped by light, outlook and spatial continuity.

The existing layout is reconfigured to strengthen the relationship between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. Living areas are positioned to engage with expansive glazing, allowing uninterrupted views to anchor the planning and define the primary internal orientation.

Internally, the palette is deliberately restrained. Timber flooring laid in a herringbone pattern introduces texture and warmth, while stone and joinery elements are resolved with precision to establish a cohesive and balanced material language. Contrast is applied subtly, allowing surface quality and detailing to carry the architectural expression.

The kitchen is conceived as an integrated element within the broader living domain. Stone surfaces, timber joinery and refined detailing combine to form a singular, functional volume, maintaining continuity without disrupting the spatial flow.

Natural light plays a central role in shaping the interior experience. Large-format openings and full-height glazing draw light deep into the plan, while soft furnishings and neutral finishes temper the space and maintain a controlled atmosphere.

Circulation is simplified, removing unnecessary thresholds and reinforcing a clear and legible plan. Private spaces are arranged with efficiency, maintaining consistency in material application and spatial proportion.

Externally, the interface between interior and balcony is resolved through aligned floor levels and minimal framing, allowing the horizon line to become an extension of the internal environment.

The result is a refined and resolved apartment, defined by light, material continuity and a disciplined approach to space.
