Gable – Brighton East

The façade is articulated through a distinct gable form, expressed with framed edges, lightweight cladding and controlled contrasts. Timber screening and horizontal elements introduce rhythm and depth, while maintaining a clean and ordered expression.

Internally, the planning balances openness with defined zones. A generous living domain anchors the ground floor, where large-format glazing establishes a direct connection to outdoor areas. Covered thresholds and screening elements moderate light and privacy, reinforcing a controlled transition between interior and exterior spaces.

Material continuity defines the interior. Timber flooring, stone surfaces and neutral finishes are applied with restraint, allowing proportion and detailing to carry the architectural expression. The kitchen is resolved as a central element, combining integrated joinery with a clear and functional layout.

Vertical movement is integrated within the plan, linking upper-level private zones organised around natural light and outlook. Bedrooms and bathrooms maintain a consistent material language, reinforcing cohesion throughout the home.

Externally, landscaped edges and structured outdoor spaces extend the living domain. The relationship between built form and garden is carefully managed, allowing the architecture to sit comfortably within its setting.
