Deco – Bulla

The façade is organised through a strong central axis, with balanced wings extending outward to create a measured and ordered presence. Rendered masonry, stone elements and expansive glazing are arranged within a disciplined framework, while vertical planting introduces softness against the structured geometry.

This order continues into the planning. A central entry sequence leads directly to a double-height living space, where a full-height fireplace element anchors the interior and reinforces vertical proportion. Large voids and elevated ceiling heights define the internal volumes, introducing vertical emphasis and a measured sense of scale. Glazing to multiple sides ensures consistent natural light and establishes a controlled relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Material continuity defines the interior palette. Timber, stone and plaster are applied with restraint, allowing texture and junction detailing to carry the architectural expression. The kitchen is resolved as a singular element, with monolithic stone surfaces and integrated joinery reinforcing clarity and precision.

Living spaces extend outward to a series of courtyards and landscaped zones, where planting is used to frame views and moderate privacy. Covered thresholds and recessed openings create a calibrated transition between interior and exterior environments.

Upstairs, private areas are arranged with a clear hierarchy, with bedrooms positioned to maximise outlook and separation. Bathrooms continue the restrained language through stone finishes and controlled natural light, maintaining consistency across the upper level.

The result is a resolved and balanced residence, defined by order, material consistency and disciplined architectural execution.
